Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Follow company policies and procedures
  2. Answer and service phone calls. Perform appropriate follow-up for sales calls.
  3. Promote sales efforts and long term relationships with repeat customers.
  4. Drive sale to meet sales/gross profit goals and promotional /clearance specials.
  5. Provide customer-pricing service using quote system
  6. Process orders, including counter, deliveries, special orders and directs shipments.
  7. Process customer returns and credits, following company policy and procedure.
  8. Maintain and follow-up on any inventory sourced or special ordered into the branch.
  9. Thorough understanding of all customer processes and paperwork
  10. Daily interaction with vendors, ordering inventory and scheduling deliveries
  11. Communicate pricing objections to appropriate personnel
  12. Provide daily support to outside sales team
  13. Set up and maintain cash deposit job folders.
  14. Assist credit department with collection of overdue accounts
  15. Maintain and update sales literature and sales aids in the showroom.
  16. Communicate inventory issues with manager and inventory control.
  17. Keep showroom and work area neat, clean and well organized
  18. Ensure all displays are current and good condition
  19. Work assigned Saturdays and as scheduled
  20. Participate in annual physical inventory
  21. Maintain showroom inventory up to date
  22. Attend all appropriate / relevant meetings (sales, branch, safety, product training, etc.)
  23. Attend trade shows and industry association meetings as required
  24. Share knowledge, train and mentor other TSCO employees
  25. Follow dress code for showroom personnel and maintain a professional appearance
  26. Promote and display teamwork.
